Found these cute little frames at the thrift store!
I had seen this idea in a magazine. Great re-use for those frames you see piled up in stores for little money.....
I removed the glass and painted the frame in a semi-gloss black paint, then cut some wallpaper from my sample books and glued it to the cardboard, added the flat-backed keys (found at Michael's or Hobby Lobby, etc.), and put it all back together minus the glass. Once the keys are added, the glass doesn't fit anymore, but it looks really cute without the glass anyway. Too much glare.

Wooden Ikea storage I rescued from my neighbor's trash. Baskets would be even cuter, but these soft-sided bins with the open handles work better for what I'm using it as, which is for my son's toys! Helps tidy up my living room. When he's done, they slide right back in easily.

This is my latest trash to treasure project. I have cups and saucers sitting here and didn't know what to do with them. Then a lightbulb came on. Since it's that time of year when I get my seeds together and ready for planting indoors, I figured this would be a great gift for someone. Enjoy!
